This is a composition I wrote for my Bachelor exam. It was performed on 21/05/2019, at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp during the Composition Festival. The work has 3 tableaus. First, there is a creation or some kind of force that "activates" time and the universe. In the second tableau, time slowly develops and gets formed in a way we can understand or perceive it. But eventually, in the third movement, the force disappears and there is a vast "timeless" landscape that will last for eternity.
This work was written for Ensemble XXI.
